Maximus Antenna

Designed for hard use and extreme conditions, the Maximus antenna is a mono pole antenna made by hand in house from the highest quality materials that we can find. The conductor is made from Nickel/Titanium otherwise known as Nitinol. 

We take the Nitinol wire and solder (not crimp, solder is better) to a copper conductor and attach it to a 50ohm BNC connector. The Nitinol wire has 3 layers of double wall glued shrinktube on the main line, while at the connector end there is an additional strengthening layer added. Once the radio side connector is attached we weatherproof the connector and add a gripable end end cap to make removing the antenna much easier with cold/numb/wet fingers.

We top the antenna off with a glued endcap that is then covered with a double wall glued clear shrink tube.

Base antennas are 1.5mm conductor, select below for a stiffer 2mm conductor wire
