This page, the interactive planner, exported CSV files, and any premade frequency packs are informational reference tools only. They are not legal advice, FCC authorization, a license, frequency coordination, or a guarantee that any channel is legal, correct, or available where you are.
- You are solely responsible for confirming you hold every required license (or that no license is required), and for verifying frequencies, duplex, offsets, tones, modes, and local rules before you transmit.
- Do not transmit on public safety, business (Part 90), military, railroad, or any other licensed service unless you are specifically authorized. Programming a channel into a radio is not permission to use it.
- NOAA Weather Radio is receive-only. Do not transmit on those frequencies.
- Data may be incomplete or outdated. Public tables and transmitter lists change. Always cross-check before you rely on a memory.
- Programming risk. Always download and save a backup from your radio before uploading. Wrong files or cables can wipe memories or damage equipment.

How to use — planner to radio
- Open the planner. Log in or create a free account on this page, then use the interactive planner (or download the premade CHIRP CSV pack).
- Build or pick your list. In the planner, filter to channels that match your licenses and area, then export a CHIRP CSV. Or unzip the premade pack and choose the CSV that fits.
- Open CHIRP on your computer. Use a current CHIRP install (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
- Connect the radio. Plug in the correct programming cable for your model and install any driver the cable needs.
- Download from the radio first (recommended). In CHIRP: select your vendor and model, then Radio → Download from Radio so the memory layout matches your radio.
- Import the CSV. File → Import the CSV from this planner (or the premade pack). Review the channels before you write anything.
- Upload to the radio. Radio → Upload to Radio. Check a few memories on the radio, then verify you are licensed before you transmit.
Tip: keep a backup image of your radio (File → Save after Download) before you overwrite memories. This tool is a reference helper — you are responsible for operating within your licenses and FCC rules.
